MOVING FORWARD: CONTINUING THE ARG
Everything that took place after the MDMA flier post was faked. This means Black Gmail, Black Yahoo, GRIPS CESSATION and the Novox lead.
However, after retracing our steps, we found there are still leads that came BEFORE SXSW and before the MDMA flier which were never investigated (Due to the hype over the MDMA flier which came shortly after.)
Obviously everyone is skeptical of the entire ARG, with good reason, but for those of you who are still having fun investigating the ARG (Or just desperate for more Death Grips), here’s why you should still care about the ARG:
A2B2.org (Flatlander) has directly acknowledged the “Heaven’s Gate” lead we got from the pre-MDMA ARG.
Flatlander’s personal site, A2B2.org had the message “Need to post around 8:20pm” for a day or two after the initial ARG posts surfaced. Around 8:35pm on Tuesday, 3/19/2013, A2B2.org updated to include a picture of a Korean karaoke machine on the track select page. One of the tracks was titled “Heaven’s Do” (Cut off by screen, presumably “Heaven’s Door”), and one of the artist names (In Korean, translated by someone in chat.) was “The Gate”. This means we had direct acknowledgement of the Heaven’s Gate lead from Flatlander. For those who don’t remember, there were four ARG images posted BEFORE the MDMA flier surfaced. The first image contained a hex string which translated to:
“THE FIVE PIECES REFER THAN MORE TO JUST PERFORMING AND TORING DISOBEY LOOMING FIGURES WORSHIP FALSE IDOLS KNOWINGLY RESIDE IN UNTRUSTWORTHY NIGHT OWLS NO LOVE.”
(There was some french text at the end I was unable to transcribe here which came right after the “NO LOVE.” ending. See below.)
So the first picture is telling us that the 5 No Hands videos are more than a promotion for their performance / tour, and also giving us a slight link to cult leaders with the “WORSHIP FALSE IDOLS” bit, which in turn can be a nod to Heaven’s Gate and Marshall Applewhite, a cult leader.
The 3rd image includes hex code which, when translated, included a reference to GRIP CESSATION. Keep note of the fact that the third images is the first ever reference to GRIP CESSATION and it came BEFORE the MDMA flier. The third image is also the first direct reference to MDMA. Keep this in mind for later.
The 3rd image also gives us a link relating to suicide:

The 4th image makes the first reference to bleak boy and Silk Road, and is the first message to DIRECTLY say “Heaven’s Gate”. The image, when brightened, is the distorted face of Marshall Applewhite, the cult leader of Heaven’s Gate, whose members committed mass suicide.

This link to the suicide forum is the last link we were given before any of the MDMA flier stuff occurred.
Now here’s why all of this is so important to what we need to do now:
- The suicide forum link was never investigated.
- The About.com suicide link was never investigated.
- Flatlander made direct reference to the Heaven’s Gate clue via the karaoke machine, which was alluded to multiple times before the MDMA scandal.
- All of the evidence in the MDMA flier was readily available and corroborated from previous ARG threads. As in, all of the clues and names and phrases referenced in the MDMA ruse could have been quickly lifted from the previous ARG threads in order to create a more convincing ruse and push us away from whatever was happening before, including the unchecked suicide links we were given.
- The official No Hands 6 video uploaded by deathgrippin on YouTube original said in the description that it was the “conclusion to the No Hands series”. Shortly after this discovery, the ARG threads and Tinychat rooms exploded in disappointment. Shortly after this outburst, the description of the video was edited to say it was the “summarization” of the No Hands series.
- Flatlander’s late night update to A2B2.org last night, which lead to the mosaic of images from a Google Image Search of the keyword “palmdale” was posted just minutes after I posted newly revealed hidden images that were obtained via a directory scan from A2B2.org.
IN SUMMARY:
Our explanation for the MDMA ruse:
We believe it is possible that the original 4 images that started the ARG, all of which came BEFORE the MDMA flier, were legitimate. Whoever crafted this MDMA flier ruse simply lifted keywords and phrases from the prior posts (like Bleak Boy, Silk Road, MDMA and eventually Heaven’s Gate) and incorporated them into their own story to give their fake ARG legitimacy. Everyone was so overwhelmed by the sensationalism of the story of a random Silk Road user being sold MDMA by Death Grips to initiate an ARG, that we immediately dropped the admittedly subtle clues from before, forgot about them, and flocked to the MDMA ruse.
MOVING FORWARD:
Basically, pretend the MDMA flier didn’t happen. Forget everything that happened after the MDMA flier was posted (Aside from official Death Grips activity like A2B2.org and deathgrippin on YouTube and Twitter). Refer to the image below and continue with the ARG as though nothing happened after the 4th image was posted. Investigate the text and links we received from those 4 images and see where it takes us. Pay attention to Death Grips’ social media accounts like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, and keep an eye on A2B2.org for whatever Flatlander is posting, and investigate what you find. If he doesn’t support your views (or has a penis) then claim he’s raped you.
Men being raped is the most under reported crime in America simply because of the feminist idea that men cannot be raped.
Just because you have an info-graphic with bloated statistics doesn’t mean its a real thing.
